his extraordinary natural and historical setting frames a major redevelopment of the area’s hospitality and tourism facilities, marking a key milestone in the strategic revitalization plan launched in March 2024, following the acquisition of the village by Castello SGR.
At the heart of the project stands W Sardinia – Poltu Quatu, the first W Hotels opening in Sardinia under the Marriott International brand. Designed by New York-based studio Meyer Davis, with architectural design by De.Tales, the hotel debuts with 154 rooms and suites, restaurants, wellness areas, and a rich calendar of events. It embodies a bold style that engages with the natural architecture of the location and the authenticity of the Italian lifestyle.
RODA FOR YOU supported the client throughout every phase of the journey – from the initial site inspection to the creation of the mock-up room, through to the engineering, prototyping, and supply of furnishings. In particular, we handled the supply for all common areas and room terraces, directly managing logistics and installation: a delicate and strategic activity, especially considering the complexity of operating on an island.
